MORAVSKE TOPLICE

The tourist resort of Moravske Toplice is located in the far northeast of Slovenia, at the transition from the "plain" to the "hilly" world, not far from the tri-border with Austria, Hungary and Croatia. In addition to thermal mineral water springs and culinary delights, it is also a starting point for recreational experiences and discovering the nearby and wider surroundings.

Moravske Toplice is a pleasant Pannonian village known for its geothermal springs with unique black unfiltered thermal water, which springs at a depth of between 967 and 1467 meters, where its temperature ranges around 54◦C. The water is murky, salty and smells slightly of oil.

Due to its specific properties, it is also unique on a global scale, as only a few springs reach such a high temperatures. It is precisely because of its heat that it is extremely effective in relieving rheumatic problems, relieving nervous tension, improving blood circulation and treating certain skin diseases. As early as 1964, this water was declared a natural healing agent.

The Terme 3000 thermal park is one of the largest in Slovenia. It's connected to hotels by a panoramic corridor. The indoor, two-floor part of the park has a slide, saunas, and a relaxation room. Adrenaline slides are the main attraction in the outdoor portion of the park, with various swimming pools and the famous black baths below.
