Are you up for some seriously magical moments in pure nature? If you're nodding excitedly, then you're ready to visit Bled Vintgar Gorge!
It's a picturesque gorge with green, at times raging waters of Radovna river, tightly squeezed inside rocky walls of surrounding hills.
It's 1600 metres long and 250 metres deep, and it's set on the verge of Triglav National Park. If you are staying with us in J&M Lake Bled Rustic Holiday Home, then you can walk up to there on foot straight from the house.
Just follow the tiny path, leading up between J&M Lake Bled Rustic Holiday Home and the neighbour's house, and just go up, until you come to the woods – and then follow the signs to the Bled Vintgar Gorge.
The entrance fee for adults is 15 €, for children (6–15) 4 €. The paths in the gorge are well mantained, but due to safety reasons they are only open during the warmer months, first opening in the mid April. In summer you can visit the place any day of the week from 7 AM to 7 PM, for the rest of the year, check the opening hours on their website www.vintgar.si.
